Flywheel

Where the money goes

What Byze earns goes back into $BYZE, and $BYZE sits inside Sapling's own flywheel. This page explains both, and shows what has been bought back and burned.

How the flywheel turns

Names beyond your first cost 0.1 SOL each. We intend to spend half of what those payments raise buying $BYZE back and removing it from circulation, and the other half on running the service. Money the product earns returns to the coin, and the coin is what the people using the product hold.

This is a policy, not something a contract enforces. A buyback of this kind happens by hand, so it can slow down or stop. If it stops, we will say so on this page rather than let it disappear quietly.

Inside Sapling's flywheel

Sapling runs a flywheel of its own, and $BYZE sits in it. A share of every Sapling trade's fee buys back and burns the top coins by market cap, so a coin that trades is a coin that gets bought back. You can watch that one live on Sapling.
